Purpose
This policy outlines our company’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions, managing greenhouse gases (GHGs), and implementing sustainable practices. The goal is to minimize our environmental impact while fostering a culture of sustainability within our organization.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders involved in our operations, including software development, office management, and other business activities. It covers areas such as energy use, waste management, transportation, procurement, and business practices.
Policy Statement
Our company is committed to:
- Reducing Carbon Emissions: We will actively reduce our carbon footprint through energy efficiency, sustainable practices, and the adoption of renewable energy sources.
- Managing Greenhouse Gases: We will where possible measure, monitor, and reduce GHG emissions associated with our operations.
- Promoting Sustainability: We will integrate environmental considerations into our business decisions and encourage sustainable practices among employees and stakeholders.
Objectives
- Achieve a 20% reduction in carbon emissions (based on % by employee) by 2030 from those established as baseline by end of 2024.
- Establish and where possible transition to 100% renewable energy sources for our offices and power to our datacentre by 2030. Ensure all third-party cloud services leverage renewable energy.
- Reduce office waste by 50% through recycling, reusing materials, and minimizing waste generation by 2026.
- Ongoing support for remote work and in Singapore encourage sustainable commuting in conjunction with scheduled remote working to decrease transportation-related emissions.
- Implement green procurement practices by H2 2025, ensuring that 75% of office supplies are sustainable and eco-friendly.
Strategies
- Energy Efficiency
- Conduct regular energy audits to identify and implement energy-saving opportunities.
- Upgrade office lighting to LED and install energy-efficient appliances.
- Optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to reduce energy consumption.

- Partner with green energy providers for our datacentres and cloud services.
- Waste Management
- Implement a comprehensive recycling program for paper, plastics, electronics, and other recyclable materials.

- Work with suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.
- Incorporate environmental criteria into the selection process for vendors and contractors.
- Employee Engagement and Education
- Provide training and resources to employees on sustainability practices.
- Establish a Green Team to lead sustainability initiatives and engage employees in green practices.
- Regularly communicate the company’s sustainability goals and progress to employees and stakeholders.
Monitoring and Reporting
- The company will track and report on GHG emissions, energy use, and other sustainability metrics annually.
- Progress towards goals will be reviewed regularly by the management team.
- An annual sustainability report will be prepared, detailing our achievements, challenges, and future plans.
